"Sharing With Shoes" A Huge Success
The first annual "Sharing With Shoes" sponsored by our law firm was held on November 4. Over 70 people attended and over 155 pair of snazzy sneakers went on the feet of homeless kids in Charlotte, NC.
"A Child's Place" which is a local non-profit working to erase the impact of homelessness on children and their education, distributed the sneakers to school age boys and girls who attend Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools.
Speared headed by Claire Krusch, Director of Marketing said that next year's planning is already underway. A grant process will be in place by January 2011 for non-profits to be considered for next year's "Sharing With Shoes."
