SHARING WITH SHOES-NOVEMBER 10, 2011
Last year, Krusch and Sellers hosted an invitation only event to collect shoes for over 4,000 homeless children who attend the Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools. The event was a huge success and shoes were distributed through "A Child's Place" which reaches out to homeless children. http://www.achildsplace.org/
Thursday, November 10, 2011 Krusch and Sellers will host the 2nd annual "Sharing with Shoes" gala. This year talented artists from The Charlotte Urban Ministry Center will display their beautiful artwork which can be purchased that evening. http://www.urbanministrycenter.org/ The Charlotte Urban Ministry Center is an interfaith organization dedicated to serving homeless neighbors and helping end homelessness.
FRIENDSHIP TRAYS
Once a month, instead of a lunch break, our team delivers Friendship Trays (Meals on Wheels) to the elderly, handicapped, and others who are unable to prepare or secure meals. Since 2008, a staff member and attorney head over to the Friendship Trays center and deliver anywhere from 7 to 14 meals to homebound clients. http://friendshiptrays.org/
NATIONAL LEADERSHIP FORUM ON LAW RECIPIENT HEADS TO COLLEGE
In 2008, Krusch and Sellers spearheaded a fundraising campaign to send a young high school student to Washington, DC to attend the National Leadership Forum on Law.
In June 2011 the young recipient graduated from high school and will be attending Aurora University, in Aurora Illinois. We are extremely proud of this young lady and aspiring attorney.
