It seems that Leigh Ballenger Sellers has been a student of divorce her entire life. She experienced divorce as a child and later watched as high school friends endured their parent's divorces.

As an adult, Leigh listened to her adult friends and some close family members as they went through separations and divorces. She understands how the process of separation and divorce can consume and eat away at the lives of the participants. She also knows that the decisions made by parents during their divorce have a tremendous effect on the children, and can shape their relationships with their parents for the rest of their life.

Before joining and forming Krusch & Sellers, P.A., Leigh worked as a staff attorney of the South Carolina Supreme Court after Law School. Leigh has been a domestic attorney since 1993 when she entered private practice in Columbia South Carolina. She chose to work with Alan Krusch in 2004 because they discovered they both share a philosophy of assisting people though this process in a manner that leaves them intact as a person.

A court proceeding and hearings before a Judge can be unavoidable and necessary. Leigh is a trained Mediator who is certified by the North Carolina Bar. She also joined the Mecklenburg Collaborative Law Practice Group in 2003. She makes it a point to work with you to determine the best method of resolving the specific issues that are relevant to your personal situation, in addition to assisting you resolve the matter in a manner that works for you.
